SAGITTARIUS FULL MOON HOROSCOPES

hello friends, the sagittarius moon is growing full.

..this full moon is climbing all over the playground of your weirdest ideas. We've been patiently waiting in the mulch of the recent mercury retrograde and now ready to mobilize. Be the director of your own life-movie, and all movie directors know...some scenes are shot in one or two takes, others several hundred - just go, just start, just keep the camera rolling - give the world the holy message you've been meaning to deliver.

We can only talk the talk so long before the blood starts rushing to our legs...before we run far away to live a story we can only see to tell. A good story structure hits a million false endings. A good story structure gives every character a secret, a secret they don’t even know themselves. A good story ravishes the protagonist with constant barriers because a good story never ends. To do great things, one must have “failure tolerance” but what if instead we called it “initiation tolerance,” the endurance to just keep starting, keep beginning, keep making things active beyond any pivot or pause, snapping forward or back by jogging or jet pack, ask for directions or just follow the traffic of the gut forward.

Let us all be impostors. Let us all be the greatest con-artist that has ever lived. Let everyone be wrong…spread rumors...“art is what you can get away with” says the most unknowable person in the world selling the most expensive paintings ever sold. Let people get a little dumb for you, let them be under a glamor spell, an epic projector flickering. Let your rom-com eyes crust over with goo, to the point where we can’t even see anymore, to the point where the only option is to look inside at the yearning you have for yourself. What the hell is that strange gap between how you see yourself and how others see you ? Play with this pressure point. In the ‘not you’ is a beautiful lump of gold, a creative force formed by the layers of your ever changing face.

The biggest inner tension is not having to make a decision or guilt or even anxiety. The most insidious kind of tension comes from when we lie to ourselves. This type of betrayal is subtle yet deep and never leaves us alone. People spend their entire life repressing the truth, because truth is risky, dangerous...a danger that compromises safety, comfort or a current status. Sometimes, a risky truth is so mysterious we might not even know what it is, only that it exists…because we see its subtle shape in intuitions, sudden urges, high weirdness, life-interruptions or even as disturbing symptoms. Your inner tension is a fountain of creativity, waiting for your you-ness to spill over. At some point we gotta show people who we really are, and what we can’t help but do.

When we memorize a list of items, it's easier to remember the very first items on the list, but the ones in the middle are hazy. This is due to something researchers refer to as the "primacy effect." Our brains are wired to emphasize first impressions. When you introduce yourself to people, they hear your name, your label “friend, partner, farmer” and this sets the tone for experiencing you. Sometimes primacy is set before we even meet someone! It’s important how we talk about each other, how we label each other. It's important we free our language from expectations...how might we tell stories without booby traps ? Any subtle assumptions of another also affect the person you are observing. We all pick up on each other's cues. As it goes: how you see anyone in your mind is the best they can be in your presence.

Hello human cannonball, hello stunt double. Hello you unusual person doing difficult feats and acts that require special skills. We all love to see you hang from skyscrapers, jump from car to car. We are all so jaded by modern computer special effects, to see your real-life superhuman abilities inspires us all. Yet, if you’re going to put your head inside a lion's mouth, make sure you know the physics. All human cannonball acts have an inflated bag landing, or point themselves straight into a body of water. Your wild visions deserve a happy ending, when we see the trajectory all the way through, we free ourselves up to play and risk along the way. No spectacular launch is ever made without full belief that our end destination is possible.

We project all our fears onto the faceless ocean of audiences, coughing, glass bottles rolling under seats. Many different minds watching you, many minds with experiences and perspectives and opinions, truth is a jumping bean shaped like a little brain. Don't get confused by the boo - instead, host cheerleading tryouts, scream over the crowd all the things you need to hear to keep playing.Enthusiastically, spell out the letters of your dreams. Talk pretty to yourself so that others can learn how, too. Somewhere in your mind, a super-fan comes hither…opens the curtain to the halftime show and reminds you this is supposed to be fun. You don’t always have to play to win or play to survive, sometimes you can just play to play.

The nervous system, body and brain aren't a tool for taking in the world - it is a safety valve for not taking in too much ! We are all so freaking sensitive, our bodies are always unconsciously matching the rhythm of it's environment. Like a cacophony of metronomes, clique after claque, slowly finding a beat in unison - the faster system slows down and the slower system speeds up until they lock into a common movement. Some call this *entrainment* -- a certain phase alignment that can happen when we share space with basically anything. We all are subtly changed by everything in rippling octaves. Growing, pulsing tree branches are sensing the process of our veins. Notice how your open body helps other bodies open…and notice when you gotta close that safety valve.

Somewhere an angel has chosen you (humor me) an angel who has your best interest at heart. Sometimes it is hard to imagine that we are cared about, that we are protected or even kept alive by some unknowable force -- and well, it’s so dang easy to die…even in most utopias nothing keeps us from dying. Something in our body could explode at any moment, our immune systems are covered in bacteria, or otherwise poorly laid out plans, moments of inattention while driving to the apartment covered in carcinogens. Survival often means privilege, staying awake, or some self-made triumph -- but let us honor an invisible caring, a divine superintendence per se that helps us in moments of stress. Everyday, a guardian takes good care of you, everyday it listens to the secret reasons of your life.

We all carry around invisible loyalties, unresolved trauma that is not even ours, however far back in the family lineage. Yet, you are not scared of invisible stuff. Invisible stuff is scared of you, it shivers as you walk into the abyss like a stalking panther. The subtle patterns of the dark bend to your will because you see more with your eyes shut. Family teaches us what is normal. Family teaches us what is acceptable and how adult relationships work - but you have walked where normalcy has no metric, where no kin like you has had the privilege to go before. With each step into shadows, your view grows wider. Your commitment to healing, to re-parenting yourself, to being your own source of security unlocks the stalking panther in us all. Together, we learn to laugh in the face of these invisible dangers.

We are all old as hell. Humans have been around for a while. Everything you experience has tinged every soul somewhere. Oddly we forget, in the scope of human existence, our cultural hang ups are kind of new…our bodies still getting used to these hierarchical shapes, these mutations of their original bliss…stress, confusion, lonely freak-outs about money, work, success, survival…let alone the unforgivable impact on the environment. Yet, like a message moaned by a primordial tube in prehistoric waters -- in whatever ways it knows how, your body can withstand the intense pressure of this moment because it is what it is built to do…our bodies are wise survival-making tricksters, it will always find a way, and you more than anyone know how to find your way.

Why go off into a cave to find yourself when all the animals, cities and people are a technicolor mirror. Contact with beauty seems like a good enough reason to be into god. The color of flowers, the wind, the sounds of different birds. Just people-watching is an instant karmic readjustment. Sure, you may be urged or even forced to go off alone, to stay in or lock your car. Just know that our culture gets grief all wrong, gets personal development all wrong...tells us individualism is strength, tells us your pain is too messy, too out of control and must be done in isolation. Yet, true healing is found by humans navigating a broken world together. Notice when it's time to unlock the door and get messy with the moving landscape.

When we fall in love, we perceive something in poetic language, not with the eye - because to love something is an exchange of imagination. We love and begin to imagine romantically with the heart's eye. When starting a new job or traveling to a new city -- you can’t stop looking up its coordinates, reading books about it, seeing it everywhere, buying stuff for it - you are compelled because of fantasy, of what it could be. To do big things in the world, it's important to have a fantasy of yourself doing it, to walk your brain through the clouds. You don't have to become overly attached to any one outcome, but letting yourself imagine is to initiate the possibility. In a perfect world, what would you be doing ? If you knew you would succeed, what would you be doing ? Let yourself live through the heart's eye.
