In this one day workshop, we will explore the houses that traditional astrology deems more frightening and weaker than others: 2nd, 6th, 8th and 12th houses. What make a house less hospitable for planets to be in and how might we move some furniture around and make it more interesting ? We will discuss traditional astrology house systems, planetary joys, anti-joys, sect and ways to find love in a “hopeless” place.

As we approach an active eclipse season, let us come together to discuss what eclipses are, how it might effect you, the world and tools for integration. This is also a deep look into the astrological nodes, their churning within a natal chart and their drama as eclipse-makers. We will consider what happens to each planet when paired with north or south nodes. We will understand eclipse cycles and their wild effects. We will combine this knowledge philosophically with the nature of shadow work and end with a nervous-system-soothing breathwork session.

When a planet gets too close to the Sun, it disappears in the sky, obscured “Under the Sun’s Beams” and goes through a sort of detox. This process often does not let a planet perform at its best, like it has caught the flu. In this workshop, we will consider ways this invisibility cloak is actually a source of power and perspective. Like Jesus waiting to pop out of a cake - these synodic cycles are a purification state. We all experience this symbolically throughout life, over and over again: death, search, rebirth. We will discuss each planets journey as it comes into conjunction with the SUN and tools for harnessing this cycle.

A ONE DAY WORKSHOP for discussing the benefits of bad compatibility.

Other people are heightened experiences of transits, they often come into our lives to represent certain planetary cycles we are currently going through, exposing and hatching different facets of our personality that our psyche is ready to reckon with. Yet, instead of engaging with transits as a life event or a mood - we get to talk to it, see it enacted as a walking lump of stardust. We are all a breathing physical cocktail of archetypes for each other, relationships let us swallow the sky whole... 

Thus, to understand our own charts more deeply - we must be curious about the interpersonal wisdom and potential of all run-ins and drop notions of BAD OR GOOD compatibility.

I often see relationship astrology being used in risk-averse ways - where if an app gives low compatibility, our astro-expectations begin sabotaging our interpersonal potential. This is a plea to take your power back from the cult of fairy tale love and become the complex people we are meant to be together.

We will talk about all the reasons why bad compatibility may actually be good, look at example charts and learn some relationship tools for taking more interpersonal risks and staying sane.

A workshop to explore traditional rulership and what happens to a planet when its trying to survive an awkward place in the chart. We will learn what traditional astrology deems as a weak or troubling planet and discover ways to​ lean in, laugh at, work with, invert​ and ​r​e-invent its reality. We will be doing some clown-inspired exercises/exorcisms to help us understand the benefits of a debilitated planet and the humanity-opening opportunity of failure.
