SAGITTARIUS NEW MOON & THE MERCURY RETROGRADE TANGLE

Happy Sagittarius New Moon :)

Fueled by optimism, this lunation inspires us to shoot an arrow towards a far-reaching goal. Though, in aspect to Saturn, while Mercury and (eventually) Mars are rocking and rolling in retrogrades - our lofty ideals may demand extra focus and patience. Like an overexcited golden retriever tangled up in its leash, the enthusiastic vision of going for "a walk" needs to slow down, choose a route and find its stride.

This may demand that you re-assess the reasons for doing what you do, and discern which path is most meaningful and worthy of your big energy. With Mercury opposite Jupiter in Gemini, question your options - let go of the ones that you've outgrown and start walking towards the horizon that offers a new level of maturity and excitement.

Mars goes retrograde Dec 6th, and so hold your leash loosely, prepare to swerve…allow your plans to get enriched by delays, fits and starts - and most importantly, rest. Like an organized stack of paper flying off into a windy void, retrogrades often limit our ability to be in control. In this way, make plans but keep an open palm. Instead of chasing down an outcome - drop expectations, invite pivots, respond with care along the way....
