As we celebrate the restoration of presidential sanity, we also know "restoration" isn't the point. America loves to idealize its past, but going back to "normal" when it led to a fascist apocalypse, is simply not worthwhile.

What really prevents people from living the life they want to live and pursuing their dreams, is an attachment to their past. Even though we are infinite, we only let ourselves use a small portion of our habituated identity. We move through the world limited by memories of what has already happened...with stories and thoughts about who we have been - and when we keep telling these stories, our lives keep happening in the same way.

And so, let's imagine connecting to the fuller spectrum of our potential, let’s turn the eternity television on and think thoughts we've never thought before.
